We would like to thank Connor Cunningham, Barry O'Hagan and their backroom team who have stepped down from their senior football management team roles for the 2024 season. Our reserves were defeated in the championship semi-final in MacCumhaill Park on Sunday afternoon by Aodh Ruadh, leading at half time two goals in the second half were the difference, the second was in the dying seconds when the lads were pushing for a winning goal the final score was 2-11 to 0-13.

Ladies
Congratulations to our ladies who defeated Sean MacCumhaills in the Junior B Final in Ardara on Sunday morning in a very close sporting contest, the final score was 3-10 to 2-10 which took the cup back to the parish for the first time since 2004 and ending a hugely successful season with the division three and county Gaeltacht cups already won. Scorers in the final were: Leah McDowell 2-01, Ellie Hegarty 1-03, Eva Gallagher 0-04 Saoirse O'Donnell 0-01, Deirdre Ward 0-01.
Seniors
Despite a promising opening half our seniors bowed out of the championship quarter finals against Naomh Conaill in Fintra on Sunday, things just did not go our way in the second half against the wind and Naomh Conaill took advantage, thanks to the players and management for their efforts over the season. Our reserves qualified for the championship semi-finals after a 2-03 to 0-04 win over Milford the goals coming from Pauric Love and Darragh O’Donnell they play Aodh Ruadh this Sunday at 1:30 in MacCumhaill Park, the very best of luck lads.

Our seniors and reserves booked their places in the championship quarter finals last Saturday evening away to MacCumhaills, our reserves drew 2-10 all with Conor O’Donnell and Paddy McShane getting the goals while our seniors also drew with both teams hitting 0-14 in a very entertaining match, next matches are in two week’s time.
Ladies
Our senior ladies defeated Termon B in round three of the Junior B championship to book their place in the semi-finals where they will face Letterkenny Gaels details to be confirmed. Our minor girls defeated Killybegs last Tuesday they make the trip to Buncrana to face the home team in the division two quarter final.

Our Under 13s lost to St Marys Convoy in the opening match of the division four cup on Sunday they travel to Cloughneely this Friday for their next match.

Our seniors defeated St Nauls 1-17 to 1-10 in Towney at a sunny Towney last Saturday with Brian O’Donnell hitting the goal in the first half, our reserves also made it three from three with a 5-14 to 2-08 victory with the goals coming from Darragh O’Donnell (2), Seanie Boyle, Ciaran Love and Jordan Mooney. Both sides travel to Sean MacCumhaills this Saturday in the final round of group matches with 4pm and 5:30pm thrown in times.
Ladies

Our seniors had a hard fought win away to St Michaels with second half goals from Ryan McShane and Paddy McBrearty making the difference the final score was 2-09 to 0-11, our reserves also made it two wins from two with a 4-10 to 0-06 both sides host St Nauls this Saturday in round three with 3pm and 4:30pm thrown ins.
Ladies
Our senior ladies were defeated by MacCumhaills on Sunday morning conditions were difficult for both teams they travel to Termon to play their second team on Sunday week. Our minor girls were defeated narrowly by Aodh Ruadh last Tuesday they host Bundoran this Tuesday, our Under 14s are trough to the division four shield semi final where they face Convoy.

Our Under 17s defeated St Marys Convoy 3-10 to 0-10 in the division three cup quarter final on Monday evening.

Our senior teams both had winning starts to their championship campaigns last Sunday against Cloughneely before a big crowd in Towney, the strong wind blowing in from the bay made conditions difficult for both matches, the seniors won 0-16 to 0-11 while the reserves won 2-12 to 0-03, both sides travel to St Michaels next Saturday throw in times are reserves at 5:30pm and seniors at 7pm

Our senior ladies defeated Aodh Ruadh B in their Junior B championship match on Sunday morning in Towney the final score was 2-12 to 1-02, they host MacCumhaills this Sunday morning in the next group match. Our minor girls were defeated by Naomh Columba last Tuesday they travel to Aodh Ruadh this Tuesday, our Under 14s defeated Naomh Muire 6-09 to 6-06

2023 Michael Doherty Memorial Tournament
The annual Michael Doherty Memorial takes place this Saturday in Towney starting at 10am we hope all taking part enjoy the day and to have fun!

Our under 15s defeated Termon 2-13 to 1-10 in their final group match on Friday to finish runners up in the group, our under 17s beat Red Hughes on Monday to top their group and secure a home quarter final. Our under 13s were defeated at Naomh Columba on Wednesday the host Naomh Conaill this Wednesday in their last match of the league.

Our seniors were defeated at home to Glenfin on Sunday afternoon in the final league match of the season while our reserves had another big win to round off their league campaign. The next senior matches take place on August 20th when we host Cloughneely in the opening round of the championships.
