We at CLG Chill Chartha are planning a memorial fundraiser for the late, Barry Breslin, Straleel in aid of the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.
Barry was sadly killed in a tragic workplace accident on the 3rd October 2024 in Perth, Australia. Barry played under age for the club and his mum, Mary (Football) has been an integral part of all things football in Kilcar for many years.
To mark Barry's first Anniversary we are holding a sponsored walk. The walk will leave Towney Football Field at 11am on Saturday 4th October, continue into the village of Kilcar, up Castlecarn and up Ballymoon side of the Glen and back via Cashlings and back to Towney. The route measures approximately 9.5km. Feel free to join the walk at any point along the way. Refreshments will be served in Towney on return.
